His professional journey began in Human Resources, where he spent nearly a decade honing his team building and culture creation skills. However, when entrepreneurial opportunity came calling, he jumped into action with passion and persistence.
Despite the challenges of a couple start-up failures, his consulting expertise landed him back in corporate, as President of a Merchant Services provider, where he grew the portfolio to over $2.5 billion, before an industry leading exit.
Driven by his knack to hire the right person, the first time and every time, Jensen wrote his first bestseller The Naked Interview: Hiring Without Regret and created an online course to help others do the same; The Hiring Academy which has trained over 50,000 users.
What followed was the rocket-ride still orbiting today – David became a Fortune 50 motivational speaker, sharing the stage with the likes of Richard Branson, Grant Cardone, Les Brown, and many more – presenting in Silicon Valley, at Universities, US Military bases and for private groups internationally. This passion evolved into the 728 Network, providing the exact tools for 7-figure business owners to break the 8-figure glass ceiling and grow their ventures.
A caring philanthropist, not just sitting on advisory boards but actively participating, including stage fundraising tens-of-millions for charitable causes. He works with humanitarian efforts around the world.
Most important, he’s been blessed with a strong, loving family with his wife of over 33 years and two adult sons. His ‘hobbies’ have included coaching high-school basketball at a State Championship level and serving the LA Sheriff’s Department Search & Rescue team.
